Our route this year is pretty much straight down I35 with a little detour into Missouri to visit friends and a stop at Branson.

Start Packing!
We have been laying "stuff" out to bring (or eliminate) on our trip south. The weather is suppose to be 40-60 deg F! that is what is was suppose to be last year! Hmmm.. will bring some winter clothes..
heading out to Door County on Oct 1st for a trial run on the home phone (Verizon wireless) and the new satellite system for Dish. it should work but... it will take some doing. have tried it here at home and out of the pole barn and got it to work. we bought a new TV (a bit bigger) for the RV and will try to install the small one in the bedroom! that might be more of a challenge than we are capable.
Todays chore is shoes... need to gather them. (might look at last years blog to jog my memory on what to bring!)

Time is getting closer to our fall/winter experience! We have been thinking about what to pack and what to leave behind. Although we did pretty good last year, we did bring a few extra things and forgot a few things. Now to find the list from last year!
We purchased a satellite receiver and a wireless home phone. We have a trip to Door County Wi in Oct where we can check them both out.
We actually go to live in the RV this summer for a few nights. Our new house was not ready for occupancy and neither was the old one. So we lived in the RV in the Pole Barn! There has got to be a red neck joke in there somewhere!
