Back to Santa Ana

After our breakfast at the hotel we took one last walk on the River Walk.  It was pretty quiet and a bit littered.  They could use a lesson from New Orleans.  clean the streets every night..

there are wonderful wildflowers on the side of the roads..

Can't go a whole day without some food!!  We had seen this place on the way to San Antonio.  had to wait 15 minutes in the parking lot for it to open up!

I had the rib plate, Eric had the brisket plate.  the potato salad was good, the beans too hot.  the ribs were good but a bit greasy,  Eric really liked the brisket.  will not go here again, although good, not good enough for a repeat..

We got back to the compound at about 3:00 pm.  time to rest from our hectic weekend..  Quiet here this afternoon.  just what we needed..
