San Antonio Day Two

Started out with breakfast at the hotel.  pretty crowded, food pretty good.  then off to the Alamo, to see inside the chapel.

The Riverwalk is pretty quiet at 9:00 am.

Junior cowboy, he has the boots, jeans, belt and buckle, shirt and hat!

We walked a bit before getting to:

Not really into dead/stuffed anumals but a great place to visit.

Tejano music..

on our way back to the hotel we stopped at:

as we were walking we found San Fernando Cathedral...

Back to the hotel to rest our feet.  went to the roof top pool.  lasted about an hour before the children showed up.  too much screaming..  back to the room for a bit then its
time for dinner....

home made wheat bread with honey butter..

I had the ribs...

did not care for the sauce but the ribs were very good..

Eric had the smoked chicken..  it was really really good... I liked the cole slaw but the beans were too hot for me...  Eric liked it all..

A lot more people and the river is green at 5:30!

we went to the Rivercenter Mall for a look..  Holy Cow was it a mad house.  the place was filled with families and they were buying stuff!  we got out of there pretty quickly..

The Alamo at night..

another wonderful day in San Antonio.  We did have a few drops of rain and I forgot to bring long sleeves or a jacket!  Me who is always cold, of course we did not find anything at the mall.  One more full day here before we head back to Santa Ana WLR.

Really loving Texas...
