Birding and Canoeing

went with 10 other volunteers for a canoe/bird outing near Brownsville.  the day started out pretty cloudy but perfect for our needs.


we (Eric and I) spotted 16 new birds!  we have been trying to get 2 a day..



our friends Mike and Carol..



about 300 white pelicans..


take off!! 



we finished off the day at a local BBQ.  very good pulled pork and brisket!

humidity and heat too much, had to put the A/C on this week..  cool front coming in on Sat..

    We don't want to hear heat and humidity too much! Actually it's not too bad here either, in high 30's the whole week!
