Corpus Christi

this is our spot at the RV Park in Mission...

We went to the Wildlife Refuge office to meet our Supervisors and get the keys to the compound.. they seemed to be very nice.  After dropping off our RV and Truck at our site for the next 4 months we headed to Corpus Christi.  On the way up we had to go thru a Border Check..

we were allowed through without incident.. 

we go to our hotel on Corpus Christi then headed downtown.  very windy and warm..  80 deg F.   this is to be our dead singer year..

there is a museum in Corpus Christi for Selena but we did not go..

we walked the South Texas Music Walk of Fame..  Starting with Freddie Fender and a bunch of folks we never heard of!  but there was Kris Kristofferson, Michael Nesmith and Bill Haley!  kind of exciting...

then there was the Texas Surfing Museum...

a mus see in Corpus..

dinner at a local seafood place..  deep fried oysters and shrimp.. very very good.
back to the hotel for a dip in the pool, hot tub and sauna.. 

life is good..
