Fort Worth, TX

It was very windy when we left OK for TX.  cloudy skies but no rain.. we took our time and stopped a few times to unwind.  the wind was mean..

Ray Roberts State Park near Fort Worth is a very nice park.  good showers, although we do have water on site.

high rise tent...

Visited with cousin Patti and Allison.  went to a great place for BBQ, Feed Store BBQ.  pulled pork was fabulous, pinto beans and mashed taters were wonderful.  Eric had beef brisket, pretty good along with cole slaw  and dirty rice.  They just moved into their new house...  absolutely beautiful with a wonderful yard... I got some ideas for the pad...

After taking off the flannel sheets and putting the cotton ones on the bed we walked  around this morning with coffee cup in hand..

spring in Tx??

we are on the outlook for the armadillo...

we went back to Patti and Allison's to go for brunch at:

3 wonderful breakfast plates and one small dinner plate..  2 great margaritas.. the food was wonderful, reminded me of Mexico City...

Eric found a bakery..

we headed to the Fort Worth Stockyards..  highly recommend this place as a must see..
